About

Beginning with my work as a software developer, my Agile journey has been a constant thread to this day. The bulk of my career has been with two large insurance and financial services organizations, where I've moved through various roles including Software Developer, Project Manager, IT Manager and, for the past 8+ years, Agile Coach. In this position, I work across many and varied business units and teams. This work includes the development and delivery of internal training, workshops, and custom engagements to help the organization achieve its goals with ever more 'effectiveness, efficiency and predictability'. Having used and experimented with several Agile frameworks and approaches at the team level and at scale over the years, our organization is seeing the value that flow practices can bring to all levels. The Kanban strategy is core to this and there is a growing interest in Kanban training and certification, which has led me to becoming a Professional Kanban Trainer so that I may offer this, internally, with the opportunity for certification.
